Among these, the Depth of Field Calculator stands out for its precision and detail, particularly when utilizing the Pixel Peeper mode.

Depth-of-Field Calculator

• This calculator enables users to determine the Depth of Field in their images by inputting parameters such as camera sensor size, aperture, focal length, and focus distance, all managed through four adjustable dials.
• Key outputs include Hyperfocal Distance, which can be reassigned to the Focus Distance dial or locked for real-time updates. Users can choose to display measurements in metric units or in feet and inches.
• The calculator defaults to traditional Depth of Field calculations; however, the Pixel Peeper mode enhances accuracy by basing calculations on sensor size and megapixels. Additionally, users have the option to input a custom Circle of Confusion size and will receive notifications of potential diffraction issues.
• Diffraction Limit guides visually signal potential diffraction problems by altering the color of the Aperture guide. Users can also customize starting points for these guides through the Pro Add-on available as an In-App purchase.

Neutral Density Filter Calculator

• This tool requires users to input their base shutter speed to determine the new shutter speed post-application of ND filters. Filters are labeled with their multiplication factors (e.g., ND2, ND4), alongside corresponding f-stop and optical density values. Users can easily hide unused filters or restore them via swipe gestures.
• For exposures of three seconds or longer, an integrated timer is included for those without external timers or built-in functionality in their cameras.

Exposure Shift Calculator

• Adjusting camera exposure settings can be complex; this calculator simplifies the process. For instance, if a user alters their aperture from f/5.6 to f/11, the impact on shutter speed and ISO is automatically calculated.
• Users can input their current settings through adjustable dials for Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO and can lock any of these dials to auto-calculate the remaining variables. An Exposure Value Lock feature allows for complete automatic calculations.

Additional Features as In-App Purchases

• The application is fully functional at its standard price, though certain features such as Apple Watch extensions and additional Pro features may be offered as optional In-App Purchases to cater to diverse user needs. Bundles are also available to save on multiple individual add-ons.
